Director & Financial Adviser
Richard has been the owner of Zenith since 2014. He has worked in the industry since 2005 and worked for HBOS plc until 2012. He is committed to full financial planning and has a wide range of knowledge in Retirement Planning, Estate Planning and Investments.
Outside of work, he spends time with his daughter and likes a wide range of sports but mainly football and rugby union. He lives in Halifax where he is involved in a number of local businesses and charities.
Financial Adviser
Karl has worked in financial services for more than 15 years, at several well-known institutions. His experience, knowledge and attention to detail, coupled with his ethical and client-centric approach, can be seen in the level of service he provides to our clients.
Away from the office, Karl is married to Helen and they have three children, who keep him and his wife very busy with their hectic social lives.
Karl enjoys most sports and is an FA Qualified Football Coach. He also enjoys listening to the music of Elvis Presley!
Office Manager
Sharon has worked in a variety of Financial Support roles over the past 20 years working predominately for a large blue chip company. She is committed to providing a high level of service to all clients, providers and colleagues.
Away from the office, Sharon is married to John, together they have twin daughters and their black lab Sonny – all of which keep her busy, she enjoys spending time in the Lake District with her family and friends.
Financial Adviser
Alan started working in the financial services sector in 1991 joining the Halifax Building Society from University. He worked in several positions including Senior Financial Adviser before taking voluntary redundancy in 2013. It was during this time that Alan met our Director Richard Durgan and they become friends as well as work colleagues.
For the last 7 years Alan has been working as a self employed Independent Financial Adviser with a small independent financial services firm in Halifax.
He has a wealth of knowledge and experience built up over nearly 30 years in financial services. He has strong personal relationships with his existing clients, some of which date back over at least 15 years. His focus is always on what is right for the client.
Outside of work Alan has been married for 20 years and has two teenage children. He is also a FA coach, coaching a local junior football team for the last 10 years. He loves football both playing and watching.
Office Manager
Samantha has 10 years of experience working in professional offices and providing excellent client care and service. Samantha has extensive experience in the legal sector and also in hospitality, and looks forward to expanding her knowledge in financial services.
Outside of work Samantha enjoys travel when she can, walking with her dog Bernie and spending time with family and friends. She is also looking forward to having her first child in August 2023.
